We have had so much fun with Spencer in baseball this year! Last year we tried soccer, but Spencer didn't seem to like it too much. So this year I made sure I put him in baseball. He was one of the youngest players on his team, and also had never done t-ball before, but we were pleased to see that he became one of the better players on the team by the end of the season. One day he declared to me, "Mom, I'm the champion of baseball!" Well, I wouldn't go that far, but he was hitting the ball consistently out to the outfielders (coach pitch) and never let one ball by him all season. His coach was very impressed with his effort and enthusiasm.
Way to go, Spencer!
